Ministries

In our effort to exalt God, edify believers, and evangelize the lost, Parkside Bible Fellowship has a wide variety of ministries. For more information, or to get involved in any of the following, please contact the office at 423-3855!

Children’s Ministries
Our Children’s Ministries department provides Sunday school classes for all ages, Junior Church during Sunday morning worship for children ages 3 to 7, our annual Vacation Bible School, a week of Christian camp in the summer, and even a two-week musical camp! On top of that, many children from the community also participate in our AWANA ministry on Wednesday nights!

Student Ministries
High school and middle school students at Parkside are encouraged to take advantage of our age-specific Sunday school classes and youth groups where we tackle issues important to students in the 21st century- and how to think about them biblically! Our students also enjoy various opportunities to serve in the church, reach out to the unchurched, and take advantage of great Christian camps in the summer (www.cowboysrest.org).

Adult Ministries
Adults of all ages at Parkside have a wide assortment of ministries to choose from. Sunday school classes, weekly, in-home Connect Groups, Bible studies, discipleship opportunities, service opportunities, prayer groups, and MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) are just a few of the options available for adults.

Music Ministries
The worship team at Parkside plays a key role in leading our congregation in regular corporate worship. Jesus says in John 4:23, “True worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.” We believe worship involves expressing our love for the Lord with our whole being. Worship is about filling our minds with biblical thinking and giving expression to the passion of our hearts as we exalt our Lord and Savior. It is our desire to present music that will exalt God, edify believers, and plant seeds of evangelism for those who have not yet come to faith in Christ. We believe this can be done through a variety of musical styles. While we recognize and believe in the importance of preparation, rehearsal, and excellence in presentation, our goal is to emphasize and encourage participation in true spiritual worship rather than performance.
